St. Michaels... The Eastern Shore

 St. Michaels Marina
In search of the real thing.

Crew Istaboa is tiring of the resort marinas and our itch for real-authentic northeastern style boatyness has not been scratched. So, today we head over to the eastern shore of the Chesapeake hoping to find it at Saint Michaels. We'll see... we understand it has really good restaurants and we're hoping for some good Maryland Crab. Maybe it's the proximity to Baltimore or DC that makes this northern section of the Bay so touristy. Not sure why, but we hope St. Micheals is the answer.
So far our favorite cruising has been in the southern part of the Chesapeake.
The York River area seems to have our vote.

Crossing our fingers, we head west...

Adios,

Istaboa
