We had weather with us all night but other than rain it wasn't a problem. Actually the rain is appreciated when it washes the salt off the boat.
We pulled into the quaint little village of Southport, NC and Southport Marina just in time for lunch at a local favorite, PJ's.
After a while the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. Southport is getting ready for the 4th of July festivities and flags were flying everywhere.
This is low country and the marshes are beautiful this time of year.
So today we run inside on the ICW as far as we can. Not sure where we will stop.
