We have always loved the Northern Gulf Coast of the U.S. and always will. For us it was the ocean and beaches of our youth. From New Orleans to Gulf Shores, From Pensacola to Apalachicola, there is a way of life (and food) like no other. Good, talented, hard working folks. Fine food, fun, and music...
But now no matter what we do, no matter how much money we spend, it has —at best— changed for the worse. The long lasting affects of this oil spill will make Katrina look like a spring shower to the people, culture, and way of life, on the Gulf Coast.
Hate to be such a bummer and we will stop dwelling on this, but saw this today and it hurts really bad.
Warning don't click here if you are already depressed or don't want to be.
What they don't want you to see.
Preface: The title is a parody of the fact that the government has effectively made it a felony to take pictures of oiled wildlife.
