Happy Thanksgiving

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Bottles Sparkling Apple Cider
  • Apple Slices
Mixing Instructions: Combine rums, cranberry sauce and sugar in a bowl and stir until well combined. Refrigerate for 1 hour. When ready to serve, add sparkling apple cider, and drop in apple slices to garnish. Serve over ice in punch glass, making sure to scoop out an apple slice with each drink. Raise glass and toast.

As a whim, last night Mel and I walked uptown to the Orpheum Theater to watch Eddie Vedder do his solo act. He was very good. I've never been a particularly large Pearl Jam fan, but Eddie was excellent.
The opening act was Glen Hansard who some of you may remember from the movie, Once. (If you've never seen Once you should, it's now an award winning play on Broadway.)
Glen only played for about 45 minutes, but he gave it his all, despite the self professed hangover he deserved from a long night at a Downtown Memphis Pup, Bardog.
Needless to say the whole show was extraordinary. Vedder played alone for over 2 hours.

If you have time... turn up the sound and watch the videos, they're worth it.

Sorry about all the commercials... Nothing's free anymore.

Stay safe and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Yes, still walking around Memphis with a camera in my hand.
I like this mural.
