Sometimes it's not what you see—
—It's how you look at things.
Found a website that provides really straight info regarding the impact the Gulf oil catastrophe is having on us cruising boaters. There's been a lot rumored about not being allowed to cruise on the Northern Gulf Coast ICW, but the Cruiser's Net states this is not so. Though this may change very soon.

Oil Spill Update
Giving credit where credit is due applies here. Marv Market, who we have met at Legacy Harbor in Ft Myers, Fl, does a really good job of keeping his friends abreast of what's going on weather wise in our part of the world.

Thanks Marv for all your marine weather info and now these damn oil spill advisories.
Keep up the good work.
Light east, southeast, or south winds of 5 - 15 knots will blow today through Saturday, according to the latest marine forecast from NOAA. These winds will keep oil near the beaches of Alabama, Mississippi, and the extreme western Florida Panhandle, according to the latest trajectory forecasts from NOAA and the State of Louisiana. The latest ocean current forecasts from the NOAA HYCOM model are not predicting eastward-moving ocean currents along the Florida Panhandle coast this week, and it is unlikely that surface oil will affect areas of Florida east of Fort Walton Beach. Long range surface wind forecasts from the GFS model for the period 8 - 14 days from now show a southeasterly wind regime, which would prevent any further progress of the oil eastwards along the Florida Panhandle, and would tend to bring significant amounts of oil back to the shores of eastern Louisiana next week. If you spot oil, send in your report to http://www.gulfcoastspill.com/, whose mission is to help the Gulf Coast recovery by creating a daily record of the oil spill.

Spill—Baby—Spill
This winning sand sculpture in the Fiesta of Five Flags contest in Pensacola Beach, Fla., shows a pelican being doused with oil from a can labeled BP. Residents of Florida's western panhandle have been venting their frustration over the gulf oil spill in a variety of ways.

Life is still pretty mellow here in Stuart. We are planning a move for a while but have not made up our minds as to where yet. The above article goes to prove, it's time to start living well.

Yacht With Retractable Pool
This would be nice anchored off Compass Cay.
Despite the sky high luxury yacht pricing, this one comes with a neat design that offers a private retractable swimming pool.
Despite the sky high luxury yacht pricing, this one comes with a neat design that offers a private retractable swimming pool.
Other luxury yachts might have various ground sports blend into their yachts’ design concepts, however water sports is a neglected aspect that has triggered Vuk Dragovic, a Serbian designer over the behance network to develop such an intriguing Atreides’ concept.
This is so 90's... Remember crazy money days.
