Interesting sites along the waterway
This is definitely the scenic route. Lots of bridges that only open on the hour, so we ran all day slowly from bridge to bridge. Still we managed 110 miles.

Being the 4th of July weekend, there were lots of folks out on the water all the way . The weather has turned unseasonably cool which is nice.
We passed by many little beach towns... Wrightsville, Surf City, Onwasa, Morehead City, just to name a few. This is not the kind of running we normally do on Istaboa, but it has been a pleasant run. Slow goin through low country.
Our goal for the day is Beaufort, if we can make it... Morehead City if we can't.
